We ship within the United States only. Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or events outside our control. Risk of loss passes to the customer upon handoff to the shipping carrier.

Because many of our products are consumable or handcrafted in small batches, our return policy is designed to protect both product quality and customer safety. Please review this policy carefully before making a purchase.

All Teas & Consumable Items — Final Sale

For health, safety, and quality assurance reasons, all teas, coffees, and consumable products are final sale.

This includes but is not limited to:

Loose-leaf tea
Sachets or tea boxes
Coffee products
Sweeteners or edible add-ons
Seasonal consumable items

No exceptions We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on consumable products. If you believe your item arrived damaged during shipping, please see the Damaged Items section below.

Teapots & Teacups — 30-Day Limited Return Policy

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for teapots and teacups — but only in cases of verified shipping damage.

To qualify for a return:

The item must have been damaged during transit
You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery
Clear photos of the damaged item and packaging must be provided
The item must not show signs of improper usage, misuse, or accidental breakage after delivery

We do not accept returns for:

Improper handling or misuse
Normal wear and tear
Buyer's remorse
Items damaged after successful delivery

If your return is approved We will offer a replacement (if available) or store credit. We do not guarantee refunds to the original payment method.

Shipping Damage Claims

If your order arrives damaged, please follow these steps immediately:

Email us within 48 hours of delivery at orders.info@yarncakesandcaffeine.com
Include your order number
Attach clear photos of:
- The damaged item
- The shipping box
- The internal packaging

Important Failure to provide documentation within 48 hours of delivery may result in denial of the claim. We cannot make exceptions to this window.

Non-Consumable Accessories

For non-consumable, non-ceramic accessories (such as select tea tools or yarn accessories):

Returns may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Items must be unused and in original packaging
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
Store credit may be issued at our discretion

Gifts

If you received an item as a gift and it qualifies under this policy, store credit may be issued once the item is reviewed and approved. Consumable items received as gifts remain final sale with no exceptions.

Return Shipping

Unless an item is verified as damaged during shipping, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
